RODENTS
PEST CONTROL

Rodents, commonly known as rat or mice are among the most widespread and disruptive pests. From homes to factories and hospitals to offices, they can be found even in the best kept premises as long as it provides them food and shelter. Apart from creating damage to materials and furniture, rodents cause food contamination, diseases and an irreparable damage to your professional or even personal reputation.

Management

  1. Trapping

Glue boards and snap traps can be useful in situations like pharmaceutical, food processing units, etc, where using poison baits can be hazardous. This trapping method prevents the possibility of rodent dying in an inaccessible area from where it cannot be easily removed and is effective when the place is infested with a limited number of rodents.

  2. Baiting

Burrows are treated either by inserting blocks of poison bait or by dusting rodenticide powder at the burrow entrances. Once rodents consumed the baits or rodenticide powder upon grooming, they die usually in their burrow which is deep in the ground, without any problem of unpleasant odour or disposal of dead rodents’ carcasses.
